Here I can actually lose myself. Everything known, mine. And at the end the magic of casting. Where soft and fleeting wax becomes hard, almost eternal metal. And also touch. God's at first, sometimes and then my touching space. Creating everything that I can think of.
I like poetry, its little form but endless essence. So naturally I like to elide, synthesize, look for new spaces within a simple contexts. By trying to move in the dark. I discover - see completely different space, unlimited, from the edge of geometry, roots, integrals and probability.

Despite appearances it is a compromise between three different spiritualties: mine, the priest and local believers. Consensus between what is right and what fits the space that is given. Surprisingly these limits creates new possibilities.
Something in between sketch and sculpture. I am trying to combine conventionality of sketch with concrete of sculpture. Living on the edge of those two worlds is very inspiring.

I studied sculpture at Fine Art Academy in Poznań in 1992(in J. Koczyński’s studio), Poland. Since then I have been running my atelier in Opole. Here I support local initiatives such as “Zimowy las sztuki” (“Winter art forest”) – fusion between art and theatre or “Book re-design”. I also cooperate with Konfucjusz Institue, thanks to which I was able to exhibit “Chinese bikes”.
From 1993 I have been teaching sculpture, trying to expand and shape young minds, taking inspiration from their freshness at the same time. Since then my students’ year to year workshop exhibition became a tradition. Thanks to cooperation with the city their work has been presented at the theatre, philharmonic and technical academy. At the same time, I am trying to wider their (and mine) horizons coorganizing art expeditions abroad.
My work focuses mostly on abstractions, installations, environment and figurative sculpture. I also deal with conservation, altars and sacrum sculpture. As a part of my activity I also enjoy doing graphic design, photography and short movies.
You can find many of my works all around Opole or during seasonal exhibitions in different cities. I am often taking part in group exhibitions, not only here in Poland, but also abroad, where my works earn various prizes.
I am an artist and a teacher by vocation, in my personal life I enjoy people, books, music and travelling.
